LOOKING FORWARD IN 2020

As property investors, we recognise that 2020 has presented significant challenges for the UK property market due to the unprecedented impact of the coronavirus epidemic. The resulting collapse in demand and rising rent arrears have affected commercial landlords (retail & leisure), serviced accommodation (leisure), and HMO (professionals) sectors.

Our investment strategy has traditionally focused on single-family units within the social housing sector, which we believe presents relatively lower risks and contributes to driving positive change. However, the pandemic has also presented new opportunities, and we have been closely monitoring the market to identify potential investments.

Despite the pandemic, our company has been able to continue business as usual, albeit remotely. Our strong relationships with partners have enabled us to maintain growth and secure new projects. While we are not making any changes to our active projects, we are mindful of the pandemic’s impact on future projects’ location and unit type in our pipeline.
